Soup-and-Baguette Lunch

GSW hosts a community soup-and-baguette lunch after service on the first Sunday of each month, October to April at 12:30pm. Come and bring family and friends to enjoy a warm bowl of soup and good conversation. The next lunch will be on Sunday December 7, 2025 or check the church calendar for upcoming Soup Sundays. Free-will donation is appreciated.

Community Carol Sing

Join us in singing a variety of modern and traditional Christmas songs on Wednesday, December 17th! Singing starts at 6:30pm, followed a reception. We encourage the donation of non-parishable food items or funds for the Wakefield Food Pantry. All are welcome!

Blue Christmas

This service is a chance for those who find the Advent/Christmas season difficult, who have lost loved ones, or are grieving other losses. It is also the traditional feast day of St Thomas the Apostle - which means that we are in good company with those for whom darkness makes it harder to believe in the Resurrection. It is a service of comfort and healing for those who are suffering.

Book Group Reading Indigenous Authors
